Has Cat written to any of you? She had a procedure yesterday to break up the kidney stone. I am concerned about her and wanted to know how she is doing.

Get better soon, Cat. You are really missed here.

Edited to add:
While it does not have anything to do with quilting, she is a very important member of our quilting group and is highly missed during her illness.

Currently working on a boys quilt. Sized 40 x 40 inches. It has chickens, chicken eggs, cows, fish, sea life, afield with water, Dachshunds, mini sailboats, and many colorful other fabrics. The blocks are a 4 x 4 finished size, so many of them are needed.
This my 4th quilt in 7 months.

Learn.. that can be a very painful procedure.. can really bruise that area.. In fact though I hate to say it.. after I read what I did on my kidney stone thread I would have refused the procedure.. So she may be recuperating still.. or on pain relievers and or just tired..
You know she will be back as soon as she is up to it..
I miss you too Cat

You are so sweet Learn!

I am home, still miserable. Meds help but make me dizzy and foggy and I can't focus on anything.

Pigling, I am GLAD I didn't read any horror stories, I am not in any kind of mental state to make decisions anyways. Uggg....

I just want this to be OVER.

I miss you and did not want you to think your absence was not noticed. It is way too easy to do that nowadays. Take the RX and get better soon. I want it to be over for you, too. I know you are suffering terribly.

Thanks so much everyone! You guys are the best

I had lithotripsy, it was only mildly painful towards the end when they backed off on the sedation. No general anesthesia. Was actually a very simple procedure, I even wore my own clothes for it!

I am not bruised, just have little red pinprick looking spots. I am not even sore at all! The biggest problem is the dang stent, I can not wait for it to be OUT. And the stone bits are still in my kidney. They are broken up and now have to fall apart and pass.

The stone was 6.3mm, too big to pass on it's own and too big to be dragged out without seriously damaging the tubes. It was completely blocking my kidney, so it HAD to be taken care of immediately. The stent is there to keep the tubes open and stretch them a little for the broken fragments to pass through once it's taken out. It is causing all the discomfort at this point.

The meds are making me nauseous and dizzy and tired. I am only taking what I absolutely have to, to try to reduce as much as possible the side effects.

Oh Cat, this sounds just awful. Just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Rest and check in when you feel up to it.
