I just had to mention the great customer service I've gotten from EmmaOneSock...again! (NAYY) Yesterday evening I ordered four yards of a fabric and was told they didn't have that much, but that Linda would check to see if there were any substitutions that might work today. Well, I get an email this afternoon stating that she's going to be able to get more of the fabric in and it should ship out by the end of the week. Hooray! Not only am I excited about the fabric, but I'm blown away by how on top of things they are over there and the stellar customer service.

I love EOS. I have to say, this is the only place online where all my experiences have been perfect! And all the fabric has been better in real life. Its more expensive than some places, but its so worth it.

Linda is like having a personal shopper. Even the hubbie is appreciative of Linda and her crew as I don't have to spend vacation time scavenging for fabric that can't be found locally. And every single piece of fabric/garment is greeted with ooh's, aah's and questions from friends about the source of the fabric.

Just got a list of favored Style Arc patterns from my DIL. Can't wait to pair the patterns up with EOS fabrics.

Adding............the EOS team has fabric photography nailed. I can reliably choose colors and patterns from the photos. (On IPad) The occassional difficult to capture fabric always has an extra explanation in the description to help with choosing. Every single piece of fabric has arrived as expected. And, the use of Pantone color numbers in the description is very helpful.

By the way, even if you don't want to take advantage of the swatch service, it is helpful to temporarily 'swatch' fabric choices on the screen to visualize how they will look together.

Add my name to the list of those who think Linda is great. She has the best fabrics and that wonderful personal service that keeps me coming back. She responds to e-mails almost faster than I can hit the send button. And the fabrics themselves are such high quality. So good in fact, that you really should send her a e-mail and see how much fabric she has left and how fast it is selling if there is something you really like but want a swatch before buying (her advice, not mine although I heartily agree!). I don't think there are enough glowing words to sing her praises properly.

Great fabrics. Fair prices. Great service. And the absolute best, I agree, photos of fabrics.
My monitor is off, so colors never appear true, but the Pantone guide helps and so do Linda's generous swatches.
But her photos, with the drapiing, etc. really do give a good idea of the fabrics characteristics.

On that note, what do we think of Gorgeous Fabrics new website? I like her fabrics, prices, and service, but browsing is slow. Is it my computer??

Last year we went back and forth about 10 times regarding the perfect colour match for silk for bridesmaids dresses. I can't say enough good things about Linda and EOS!

GORGEOUS FABRICS site is slow, not your computer at all. Love her fabrics but don't like the new site.

I think I probably have my own personal 'hold' shelf at EOS.
The only thing I wish is that you could zoom in on the fabric. I really like a close-up view sometimes.

Hey, PattyE, is that you taking up space on my hold shelf? The ability to hold for a couple of weeks and create an entire order sure helps keep the shipping manageable.

I zoom the EOS fabric by pinching out the screen on the Ipad. There are two iPads between us but one is on loan for a good cause. Oh, gee, I miss it. It is decadently wonderful to have the two iPads side by side for coordinating fabric choices.

And, I take photos as the fabric comes in so those are on the iPad for comparison and 'shopping' too.

Love the way Linda sends out those magically folded and packaged fabric bundles. I take a close up photo of the fabric information and yardage label, another photo showcasing the fabric, and another photo(s) of the fabric with anything purchased to coordinate with it.

Received my two blue bundles already. So timely as the smaller pieces will be perfect for our family's expected late Christmas present.
