But you have to look for it. (Moderated by Sharon1952)

Craftsy is having a great sale right now because they have reached however many subscribers. It didn't appear through my Craftsy account- I found it on Facebook. I was able to get the bra- making class for $19.99 and the dressform class for $14.99. If I had a bit more discretionary income, I would have gotten the only Suzy Furrer class I don't have- the creative sleeves. I don't feel guilty, as I have decided to look through all my classes at a set time- roughly 3:30 to 6 on Fridays while my daughter is at work, and Saturdays or Sundays 7-9 am, with my coffee. If I keep this up for the entire school year I will get through many of my purchases.

You're awesome. I only check FB once in a while. I've been waiting for the bra making one also.

Look on Facebook for their 5 million(I think) member ad. I couldn't get it from my account,I had to go through the post on Facebook.

Different prices for different folks perhaps? I went to Craftsy via their Facebook page, and the dress form class shows up as $29.99 for me.

Maybe you have had to like Craftsy on Facebook- I didn't go directly to their page, it was on my feed(?).

Craftsy gives different prices to many, many of its customers. Sometimes I feel as if it plays "bait and switch" with folks.

Well, I didn't get the great deal on the bra class, but I enrolled anyway with a bit of a discount. I also picked up a class on knitting socks, a skill I have been trying to teach myself. So, I'm set for the winter--->lacy bra and cozy socks!

I got the email about the sale this morning, both from Threads and from Craftsy.

I found that they were giving me different "sale" prices for different visits or "sessions" to the website when I'd click on the Facebook ad--being, for instance, sometimes $39.99 and sometimes $19.99 for the bra-making class. Whenever I saw the lower price (or what I confirmed was the lowest price), I'd add it to my shopping cart. If I saw the higher price, I'd log out of Craftsy and try to find the class again at a lower price on another visit. So I ended up able to get a few classes I've been wanting to take at what I think is the lowest price they were willing to give me for each class. It *is* annoying that they do such price changes by either visit and/or customer. Makes me feel like I have to be on the defensive when purchasing there.
