Deepika,

Could the Plus sized women have their own topic thread? We sometimes post under Creative sewing, and in other places. There does not seem to be one place for us to gather and learn from each other. Please consider this request. Thank you.

Currently working on a boys quilt. Sized 40 x 40 inches. It has chickens, chicken eggs, cows, fish, sea life, afield with water, Dachshunds, mini sailboats, and many colorful other fabrics. The blocks are a 4 x 4 finished size, so many of them are needed.
This my 4th quilt in 7 months.

Hi Learn to Sew. If you click onto Creative Sewing on the main message board, you will see a secondary category call "Plus-Size". That is where we discuss a lot of plus topics. Hope you find it.

In reply to Cathy Loves Fabric
I know. I post there as well. However, I was hoping we could have a thread of our very own. If not, we can still gather under Creative Sewing and chat, chat, chat. It was just a thought I wanted to put out to Deepika.

I've been following the Plus Sized thread under Creative Sewing and it has been very helpful and entertaining, too. But at present there are over 700 replies on this topic and they have ranged from discussing plus sized pantyhose to what styles look good on larger women to who actually qualifies as "plus sized" to specific pattern adjustments. The various topics would be easier to follow if separate, yet they all qualify as Plus Size issues. So I would also vote to have a special plus size category. BTW, this site is WONDERFUL. Deepika, you have done great things here, and I refer everyone I discuss sewing with to PR. There are so many helpful and giving people here who contribute and inspire.

Deepika,

Thanks so much for the Plus section!! (smoochies)

Is there any way for you to easily move the Plus thread from Creative Sewing to our new home?

A great idea and Deepika has done this in a flash for you
I read the plus sized threads and often pick up tips and have a giggle, but most of all, I enjoy seeing the wonderful garments our plus size members make. Have fun in your new home girls
