HSN is showing these jeans right now Fancy hem treatment jeans

which looks like a great idea for extending pants legs.

Edited to add I didn't even notice the price. Anyone have a quarter yard scrap and some ribbon?

Great idea. I was just complaining, in the jeans sewing thread, about never finding pants that were long enough.

I know what you mean. I'm short, 5'2", but have a friend who is 5 inches taller and all of it is in her inseam.

That's a terrific creative idea!! And since almost anything goes right now, it really gets my juices going on how to make a "mistake" a fashion statement!

Thanks.

Not that I want too-long legs, but I looked at that thinking that visually chopping my legs like that would be the worst thing I could do. Everything I do is designed to incorporate vertical lines whenever possible.

Perhaps. But nothing is dorkier than floods. Too long to be considered cropped; too short to be full length.

Pants puddling around your ankles and all bunched and distorted around your lower leg isn't a pretty sight either.

We really need the options men have for inseams.
