50% off (Moderated by Deepika, Sharon1952)

No, I did not just order 5 lengths of fabric I don't really need, including some orange suiting. ORANGE SUITING!!! Just because they're having a 50% off sale!!!!
In general, I find their prices are reasonable for the high quality fabrics they stock, just too expensive for this cheapskate. So a 50% off sale enabled me to go ahead and order.
NAYY, just want to share the love.

Kim, are you willing to share links to a couple of the knits you ordered? I'm on a quest for skirt- and dress-weight knits, and it's so hard to tell. EB is new to me, and I've been combing through their stock this morning! :)

Viscose knits at Elliot Berman
I ordered from this category--viscose lycra knits mainly. I have ordered some of the regular viscose Lycra and the digital prints in past sales and found them great for tops, dresses, and skirts--lightweight enough to drape well, but not sheer, and good quality.
Here is a specific print I ordered
Patchwork viscose lycra

Very nice of you to post this sale, sew girl. I've been surprised at how few comments have been made about it during the past few days, since it's rare to find a 50% off sale on an entire website. In the past, I've read great things about Elliott Berman fabrics. So, I'm just bringing your post back up to the top tonight to make sure that as many people as possible know about it before it's over. The code is "BDAY50".

Not sure whether to thank you or not
but is there some way to get a bigger better look at the fabrics? Those thumbnails are literally thumbnails! When I click the option to view larger pic it opens a box in middle of the screen with the thumbnail enlarged ... maybe 10%?! I was looking at one of the French paisley knits under new fabrics and I can't get it big enough to even detect whether I'm looking at a blue or grey in the print.
Maybe it's better that I can't get a better look....

Oh, you enablers, you!
I just placed my first order with them and if I get them successfully made up by the end of the year I'll be the best dressed I've ever been in my entire life!
Italian boiled wool.....I can hardly breathe....and that silk scarf, holy guacamole, I have to learn to do a rolled hem now.
