Just got a packet of sale booklets, haven't bought for years.
Who uses and which favorites?
I remember seeing their collectible bottles for sale at garage sales and shops, not so much now.
I think Olay is the biggest seller for face creams. They keep inventing, which best MUSTS do you have in your bathroom?

Avon goes in and out of fashion. Where I used to work, there was a rep and I did buy a few of the cheaper items. However, I have fond memories of

which was very much a feature of my early teenage years. I can even still remember the smell.

I will have to check with my mom when I get home from work.
As for me, Far Away is nice (and Far Away Exotic but it was discontinued).
Secrets to Keep is Avon's version of Coach's Poppy (I think the original Poppy).
But my all time favorite is Pomegranate and Peony bubble bath.

Haven't bought for years, but last time I did I thought it was quite economical and products were very good.
The whole concept of having to preorder these items just doesn't jive with my "OMG-its-midnight-and-I-forgot-I-used-the-last-of-my-mascara (deodorant, moisturizer,etc)-this-morning" lifestyle.
I do think its important to buy from someone thats doing a decent volume so that your orders arrive in a consistent and timely manner. (This was an issue when I last ordered.)

I liked their Skin So Soft Bubble Bath, and also Peppermint Foot Cream, best, but haven't bought anything for years- never hear of reps around my area.

I had to quit getting Avon. . They add fragrance to their lipstick. Ugh! I use to love the different jars and such before they started making them more basic.

I just got an Avon order today:-) I love their makeup, nail polish and jewelry. I have a few pieces from many years go that I still get massive compliments on.
My Mom was an Avon lady in the 70's and I found I could not wear any fragrances, though scented products were fine. The last time I checked, that still was the case. Don't know what it is that they put in their perfume, but it doesn't work for me.
Their wash off waterproof mascara is the best I have ever tried and I've used it - gosh - for decades now. Nurtura moisturizer is also a looooong time favourite product. DH, who never comments on such things, said he liked the scent so it is my go-to. Must ask some day if he still likes it. My kids were babies when that happened and are both in their 30's now.

Hi everyone
It has been decades, since I thought about Avon. My mother and Grandmother use to get some of there things.
I remember to getting wear the perfume they called "Somewhere". Now, days I don't even go there with my asthma and eczema. I had to change fabric softer, and I don't know how that is going to work for me. I got Snuggles Blue Sparkle scent. I just use a tad not even a tablespoon... It is really strong.
I am thinking about just using vinegar. I don't mind the smell of vinegar.

I remember Sweet Honesty.
I rarely use makeup, so I can not say.
As for vinegar in your laundry, I buy it in gallons.
I add some in both the bleach and fabric softener compartments in the washer for most of my laundry.
It doesn't make the laundry smell of vinegar and in fact, it helps to deodorize.

I got so excited when I saw the title of this post: I immediately thought it referred to the old BBC TV show "Blake's 7." Avon was my favorite character in the series.
