Does anybody know where to buy ribbing for cuffs, etc. It used to be easy to find, but I haven't seen it in awhile.

Thanks.

Do you mean the heavyweight kind for jackets? Mood has some and so does Pacific Trimming. I've purchased it from Pacific Trimming and really like theirs, but I'm sure Mood probably has the same source for theirs. It seems really hard to find!!!

If I just need cuffs, I often use tops of socks. You can often match fiber content, and sock tops are often much more interesting in design than ribbing on a bolt.

I ordered some from the Fabric Fairy at thefabricfairy.com . There isn't a specific category for it but if you search for 'ribbing' it comes up. It is really heavy weight ribbing.

Girlcharlee.com does have a separate category for 'cotton ribbed' knits

These two seem to be geared more for youthful colors.

Mood has a section called rib knits also

Thanks. Yes, that's what I mean.

I did search the forums after I asked the question. I should have done that first. Somebody did mention Mood and Pacific Trimming.

Other places mentioned were
Nancysnotions.com
and
Wawak

This stuff used to be sold by the inch and was sold in 20-30" tubes. Does anybody else remember that?

Now it's 50+" wide and sold by the yard. The world is going crazy!

Don't bother with Wawak. I ordered several and ended up throwing them away because they were too thin to use even on a t-shirt.

Fabric.com has lots of ribbed knit here. I glanced through and saw some nice Telio, too. I bought some ribbed knit in a tube last winter, but not sure if I got it from Fabric.com or JA. So, they still make it in tubes somewhere!

I can't vouch for the quality, but Joann's still carries it and it's in a tube:
