I added 2" to the length of this jacket. I felt it was too cropped for me. This was another project where my pfaff failed in the button hole dept. The test came out nice and on the jacket... it stopped short (whenever I hear that I think of the Seinfeld show where Kramer stopped short definition ]. I was about ready to toss it out the window (the machine). [I need to drag out my Singer 99 and buttonhole attachment and use that.] I didn't line it either, I just but bias binding over the seams in...

Okay. I missed this the first time 'round... but what a great jacket! And I just saw someone (my local CAbi dealer) wearing the ticking jacket yesterday, and yours puts hers to shame-- SO much prettier, SO much more unique! Hmmmmm.... Pottery barn, you say? Another place to feed my habit! ;) Thanks for a great, fun review (stopped short-- I remember that one too!)--

Ticking fabric?! Well, there should be an ingenious button for me to click, too! Who knew? I have this pattern and now I can't wait to sew it up...love it more in real life than on the envelope! Thanks for the review!
