I chose to make it a second time for a 1940s party and I like the fit and style of the dress. Fabric Used: A blue print silk from a store in NYC. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made the same alterations as last time plus: I had added the extra width to the front waist panel at the centre, but to the bodice at the sides. I had to unpick the seam between the two and move the gathers further to the middle, over my actual bust. I think the waist panel is the same size as the ...

I love this dress made up without the sleeves. I never thought to do that but I really like this. PLUS love your stockings, shoes and hair!
