I just purchased Tilly and the Buttons' book "Stretch" and am loving all the great patterns. I was just curious if anyone has tried making the stella joggers in a lightweight woven? I noticed how popular the Hudson Pants pattern was, and just wondered if there was a way to hack the Stella joggers to be similar?
I know I will be making many versions of the Frankie tee, and the other patterns look pretty fun too.
Any advice is appreciated.

It probably depends on how close fitting the joggers are. I would advise to go up a size (at least) and add to the seam allowances (1” at side seams, and maybe at inner leg seam) and baste and check fit during the sewing process. Or do a muslin with an old sheet to check where you might need extra ease.

I know this is an old thread, but did you end up making these? I'm also considering trying this pattern in a woven fabric.

I haven’t done them in woven but i did do the mila dungaree (pants only not overall)in light woven. It was a free pattern with one of the magazines ages ago. It has similar styling and is made for woven
