Thank you for mentioning the Blank Slate Sora! I've not seen that one before. I have the Jalie, but for my size it calls for more fabric than I have. I've always suspected that was for the hooded view, and the shawl-collar view would surely take less--and the Sora yardage requirements suggest that I'm probably right about that!

I love that Jalie pattern. I have 4 or 5 in my wardrobe and I have made one for Mum that she wore all this cold winter.
If you want it more close fitting I would just go down a size or two.
