I've been asked to make an reproduction of a mid 1830's dress, but can't seem to find any suitable fabric. I'm thinking I'd like a stripe with a "lozenge". Warm color - cotton or linen.... please help me!!!! I'm getting carpel tunnel with the search!

Okay, I don't for sure these will work, as I am just going by labels on websites. Also, I just searched by the 1800's. Here's a few sites I found:

Arlington Fabric

Bonnie Blue Quilts

Wyoming Classics

Fabric Attic

I can't say whether the prices are reasonable or not, but I've looked at their pretties frequently. It's the international postage that stops me from indulging.
