Type: Tops
Fabric: Polar Fleece  [See other projects in this fabric]
Fit: Skims the body (gently follows body's curves)

Pattern Description: The Constellation Pullover is great for a variety of stable knits, it has the option of a hood or a collar giving you two great looks with one pattern. Cuffed sleeves with thumb holes and a band at the hem making sewing a breeze and keep the wind out. The zipper section gives an excellent opportunity for using custom panels and gives easy nursing access if needed. Two hem options are also included- banded and curved.

Pattern Sizing: X-small to 5X (bust measurement 33" to 57.5") I sewed the full bust size Large, with a 3" FBA.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, with my modifications.

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, well written instructions

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I needed a polar fleece pullover and I liked options for a hood or stand-up collar, the hemline, and the cuffs; the half zip (easier to get on/off); and the opportunity to use stash fabric for trimming areas of the pullover.

Fabric Used: a 200-weight polar fleece from my stash (purchased from Malden Mills years ago), with a coordinating ITY print for trim.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: FBA, as the Love Notions Full Bust sizing adds an extra 2" to the sewing cup size; I need 5" total; this FBA did create bust darts. Also, I did not want a full, double panel of fleece for the pockets, so I modified the pockets to be patch pockets.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I would like to sew it again, in a lighter weight fabric like a French Terry, for spring weather.

I like the use of the print as accents.

Nice work. I especially like the trim. It makes your work very creative and out of the ordinary looking.
