Pattern Description:
Women’s panties and camisole. I made the cami.
Pattern Sizing:
US 2T to women’s 22. I made size S (US 6).
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
It would have if I could ease lace on a curve.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, though I had moments of doubt with the lace application. Some of it is finished before joining the straps.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I didn’t appreciate that a cami has to be a different cut than a tank top until I sewed one up and the overlayer top looked so much better. Also a square neck is just businesslike and kept it utilitarian yet pretty.
Fabric Used:
Polyester knit with foil accents sold by the kilo from Ohlssons fabric store in Sweden.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
My lace wasn’t as wide as recommended so I widened the front shoulder strap to match the back strap. I chopped off the usual inch+ from the shoulder strap height for a petite alteration.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I will but I’ll leave off the lace. Trust me why I didn’t upload photos. Darts. Darts everywhere in the net backing and they are ALL user error. It’s no advertisement for a pattern that’s just fine.
Conclusion:
Staying warm.
