Pattern Description: Misse's knit bodysuits with sleeve and neckline variations.

Pattern Sizing: XS - XL. I made the XS (6-8) but sewed 3/8" seams with my serger. I'm normally a size 8 in the Big 4. I am 5'7" and have an average length torso though I do sometimes have to add 1/2" to the length on certain patterns. I did not make any alterations on this pattern.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This is a good basic bodysuit pattern. No dislikes.

Fabric Used: Stretch velour.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None other than sewing 3/8" seams with my serger instead of 5/8" seams as instructed.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I would sew this again. I would recommend the pattern to others.

Conclusion: Years ago I had a stretch velour bodysuit that I wore until it was no longer wearable. I've been wanting to make one ever since. I'm glad I finally got around to making this pattern. This will not be the last one I make.

Looks great and I love the color! I never found a RTW bodysuit long enough through the torso. I'll definitely consider making one from the jersey fabrics I have in my stash.

This looks great & so do you in it! I never wore a body suit due to a long torso; might have to check out this pattern to make a custom fit.

You look outstanding in your velour bodysuit! Back in the day I had a navy ribbed knit one that I wore out. If I still looked good like you do with tucked in tops I would make this!

I remember my younger days when I would pull the bottom of my shirt in between my thighs to try tucking them in smoothly. A bodysuit would have solved the problem! Yours look perfect!

Thank you Maria. I do like the smooth look of a bodysuit.

I have this pattern and just want to caution other sewers that, if they are tall, to carefully check the length before you cut it out. I used a very stretchy velour and it was way too short. Tried again and added something like 4 inches to the length. I am 5'7" and despite being short -waisted it was way too short. Yours looks great.

Wow, 4" is a lot to add which I probably would need also (I'm 5'10" and short waisted for my height). I wonder if measuring torso length as for a swimsuit would help. You'll need an extra long measuring tape to measure from one shoulder, under the crotch, and back to the same shoulder. The pattern could be measured in a similar manner (omit the seam allowances when measuring the flat pattern). Or compare the pattern to a tank swimsuit that fits well.

Thank you. I appreciate your comment on the length. I edited my review to reflect my own experience with the pattern.

I remember wearing body suits as a kid. They always stayed neatly tucked in and I really liked that. It's fun to see a pattern for a body suit. How do you get in and out of it? I remember a snap closure.

Yes, it's a snap closure. Getting in an out is no different than any other top.
